    • Mr. Ken Horowitz offers a class on Sages of the Talmud June 5, June 19, and July 3, 45 minutes before Mincha.

    Prayers for the sick (mi sheberach l’cholim) are offered each morning that the Torah is read. Call the Shul office to have a name added to the list for one week only. If a prayer is necessary for the following week, it will be necessary to call again. Please furnish the person’s, (and his or her mother’s) Hebrew name, or English name if the Hebrew name is not available.

     

    The Franco Foundation provides financial assistance for food, clothing, and shelter to families and individuals facing crisis within the Greater Washington & Maryland Jewish communities. We assist these families until they can finally support themselves once again. The Franco Foundation depends on the community for support.     Personal lockers located in the back of the shul are available for annual rental. Call the shul office for information.

    Please ensure that your children, if not participating in a supervised group, remain quietly with you in shul. It is dangerous and disruptive for your children to run around the building without supervision.
